Arts Avenue • Live Music from: John Paul White • With The Hurting Kind, John Paul White has crafted a stunning album that draws on the lush, orchestrated music made in Nashville in the early 1960s. Yet these songs retain a modern feel, whether he’s writing about overwhelming love, unraveling relationships, or the fading memory of a loved one. White grew up in tiny Loretto, Tennessee, and now lives in Florence, Alabama, not far from Muscle Shoals. He has cultivated his career in Nashville for two decades, first as a songwriter for a major publisher, then as half of The Civil Wars – a groundbreaking duo that won four Grammy Awards before disbanding in 2012. Because The Civil Wars were so hard to categorize, White has earned a fan base among indie rock listeners, folk audiences, Americana outlets, and AAA radio.  • Tickets $20 • Get Tickets Here • Doors: 6:00PM | Show: 7:00PM | Ends: 9:00PM

The Signal • Live Performance from Chattanooga Girls Rock Camp Showcase 2021 • Chattanooga Girls Rock Camp is a week-long music education program for girls, trans, and non-binary youth ages 10-17 with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and uplifting community in Chattanooga. We provide campers with positive adult mentors and partner with local organizers to create a safe space that allows our campers to think about new ideas, vocalize their opinions, and learn how to become young activists in our community. This is all possible with our talented and dedicated volunteer base! In addition to taking workshops, campers learn an instrument, form a band, and write an original song that culminates in a showcase performance for a large crowd of their friends, family, and community members. Please come out and support our hard-working campers and listen to the songs they have written throughout the week! • DOORS: 5:00 PM / SHOW: 6:00 PM •  UNDER 18 W/ GUARDIAN • Get $10 Tickets Here
