Feed the Red WolvesReflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center• Come out to our popular Feed the Red Wolves program! Members and visitors can come into our Native Animal Exhibit, meet our red wolf pack, learn more about them, and help feed them. We might even catch a glimpse of our new pups, Romulus and Remus! Our knowledgeable staff members will be there to facilitate your visit, answer your questions, and to guide you through viewing the other native animals in our exhibit. Feed the Red Wolves programs will take place on most Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Space is limited. If you aren’t able to sign up in advance, spaces will be available on a first come, first served basis by checking in with our Welcome Services staff when you arrive. Floating through the Forest Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center • Enjoy the beauty of Lookout Creek as our naturalists teach you more about native plants and animals. We will provide all the necessary equipment. No experience is required. Open to ages 7 and older. Sweet & Savory Classroom Parent/Child Ramen • Who knew “Real Ramen” doesn’t come from those little dusty pouches you boiled up all through college? Ramen is actually a complex meal with Japanese and Chinese Heritage from centuries ago. Great Ramen is a sought after dish because the making of it is like fine tuning a grand piano. It takes time and attention to detail. In this class we really get deep into the complexities of Ramen by first making the alkaline noodles from scratch followed by seasoning the homemade broth to perfection. Then we work diligently to prepare the marinated soft boiled eggs which are a famous accompaniment. To finish off the Ramen everyone cooks their noodles and makes a few other toppings.
